Engineer by training, product designer by choice.

I'm Ahmed, a senior product designer with six years in product design and engineering. I studied Computer Engineering, built an IoT product, and then moved fully into design, which is why I'm at home in a room with developers.

Most of my work is software people use all day at work: an ERP with ~250 daily users, banking apps, and data-heavy dashboards. I like the parts others find boring, like dense tables, edge cases, design systems and the gap between what was designed and what was built.

Lately I've been designing AI inside products: Korombo, the assistant in New Power, and an AI agent I'm building for automated UX audits.

I'm looking for a senior product design role in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Europe or remote, on a team that ships complex products and cares how they feel to use.
